Right-of-Way Stewardship Council Announces New Audit Committee Chair

Minneapolis, MN—-The Right-of-Way Stewardship Council (ROWSC) is pleased to announce Pamela Money as the new chair of the ROWSC Audit Committee. The Audit Committee is responsible for completing field audits and providing accreditation recommendations to the Council. 

Pam is a highly skilled professional who brings with her over 30 years of experience in the utility vegetation management industry, as well as many years of service as an auditor for the ROWSC. She is currently the principal and CEO of NRM-VMS, Inc., has led and consulted for utility vegetation management teams, and holds a Bachelors of Science in Arboriculture from Michigan State University as well as a Masters of Science in Plant Protection and Pest Management from University of California Davis. As Audit Committee chair, Pam will lead the team of auditors, work with applicant utilities to coordinate the audit process, and advise the Council as a non-voting member. 

The ROWSC uses an accreditation model to provide standards of excellence for environmental stewardship and presents the opportunity for utility companies to demonstrate their commitment to such standards. In addition to these standards, accreditation requires a formal application process and enlists third-party auditors to ensure compliance with standards. Third-party recognition ensures an independent, proven process to convey credibility and bring recognition to integrated vegetation management (IVM) programs.

The ROWSC would also like to thank Thomas Sullivan, past Audit Committee Chair, for his years of hard work and dedication refining the ROWSC audit process.

Right-of-Way Stewardship Council is an accreditation program led by a diverse group of stakeholders including industry, government, academia, and environmental NGOs, in order to provide standards of excellence for environmental stewardship along rights-of-way (ROW) and present the opportunity for utility companies to demonstrate their commitment to such standards.
